MALE CELLULITE

Cellulite is an unattractive condition that appears on your skin causing it to look bumpy in certain areas of the body. This is a condition that appears on the majority of women in areas like their thighs and buttocks. Men are not normally prone to suffer with cellulite, and when they do, it is not as visible as in women. This is because cellulite in men appears around their waist and abdomen.

The bumpy skin look that appears when cellulite is present is because of a fat layer that builds under your skin and pushes up against the cords of the tissue fibres.
Beneath the surface of our skins we have a fatty tissue that sits on a firm layer of collagen connective tissue.  Before cellulite shows up, the outer surface of the skin is smooth and supple (no bumps and no ridges).  The fatty tissue beneath the skin is also smooth which causes no bumps to show. The fatty layer just below your skin is (and remains) smooth and supple as long as the fat cells remain strong, healthy and flexible inside.
The dimply, bumpy texture we call cellulite begins to occur when the structure of the fat cells begin to weaken.  When the cell walls worsen, the cells begin to "sag" and this "sagging" is what accounts for the "orange peel" look of cellulite.  The weaker the cells become, the worse the sagging and the worse the cellulite.
Every person is unique when it comes to cellulite and the formation of it. The differences are the conditions of the tissue in every person. People who have weak walls around their tissues are more prone to develop cellulite.
Cellulite is most often associated as a condition that women suffer with. It is often seen as a feminine characteristic. This is because the estrogen hormone that is present in a woman’s body, which is created by the ovaries, is the one that stimulates the build-up of fat under the skin. Men generally have a lower level of estrogen hormone in their bodies, which is why they are less prone to develop cellulite. The main hormone in a man’s body is testosterone; this hormone tolerates the production of proteins. That is why men usually have a thicker layer of tissues under their skin, and generally have a thicker skin layer all together. These factors help prevent men developing cellulite.
As mentioned before, the fat deposits in men usually accumulate in the abdominal area and above their waist. Women usually develop fat on their hips, thighs and bottom. When they are overweight, they get a largest diameter on the bottom, whereas  men develop it on their middle.

Dieting to prevent Cellulite
Men can say goodbye to cellulite more easily than women because they generally need only a good diet and exercises to keep it under control. Their skin and fat layers tend to regenerate easier than a woman’s, because of their connective tissue disposal.
Exercises to Reduce Cellulite
If you are a man, burning calories should be your main focus when trying to get rid of cellulite. If you add some activities into your daily routine that burn calories and tone your muscles, they should help immensely in fighting cellulite. On and off exercise done to reduce cellulite in certain areas will generally not work. The best solution is to work out your whole body with aerobic exercises.
